Establishment
The Nashville Chapter was chartered in February 2004. We are a diverse group of women dedicated to fundraising, mentoring, and supporting local programs that serve others.

Mission Statement
​
The mission as a non-profit entity is to be a charitable, educational, civic, and cultural organization committed to promoting positive influences, justice and social change within local communities.

National Vice President - Dr. Phyllis Qualls

Dr. Phyllis Qualls is the 2024-2026 National Vice President of Les Gemmes, Incorporated.  Her current service includes chapter President of the Nashville, TN chapter for two terms.  Dr. Qualls leads by example and is a powerhouse in the Nashville community through service, leadership, engagement and delivery of initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all.

Our Initiatives for Service

  • Literary Arts – Promoting creativity, literacy, and a love for the written word through workshops, book drives, and community-based literary events.
​
  • Youth Mentoring and Tutoring – Supporting the next generation with guidance, educational resources, and opportunities for growth.
​
  • Support for Seniors – Providing vital assistance and companionship to ensure seniors maintain a fulfilling and dignified quality of life.
​
  • Healthy Lifestyles – Advocating for physical and mental well-being through health education, fitness programs, and access to essential resources.
​
  • Domestic Violence Awareness – Raising awareness and providing support to individuals impacted by domestic violence, fostering safe and supportive environments.
​​​
  • Economic Assistance – Delivering resources and programs to aid individuals and families in achieving financial stability and self-sufficiency.
​
  • Veterans - Provides support to the Veterans and military community through scholarship, fellowship, the Wounded Warrior program and national observances.
​
  • The Jewels - Mentoring, support and development of teen girls age 13 through high school graduation.  The program includes etiquette classes, exposure to the arts, social action, cultural engagement, college preparation and more. (learn more about the Jewels)
