Welcome to The Nashville, TN Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc.
This chapter was established in 2004 under the umbrella of the national organization that was established in Norfork, Virginia in 1944. We hail from Nashville, Tennessee. This is the home of the Grammy award winning Fisk Jubilee Singers who crowned the area as Music City. The Nashville Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc. is proud to serve in the city that launched the career of Oprah Winfrey, hosts the National Museum of African American Music and a rich offering of historical HBCU's. These historical black colleges and universities known as the "Athena of the South" are comprised of Tennessee State University, Fisk University, American Baptist College and Meharry Medical College.

Gemme Katherine Y Brown was presented with the Resuscitation Champion Award by the American Heart Association at the 2023 Resuscitation Science Symposium for training more than 300,000 people in CPR for free!
